In Love With HTC
November 11, 2008
It’s been almost two years since I got a job and I was just wondering what did I do with all the money I earned so far. Apart from the fact that I spent most of the money on trips with my ex-gf, but all seemed worthless now. It was so depressing that I didn’t buy anything worthy for myself since June 2007. So I decided I will buy something for me, something to remember by, something that’ll stay with me at least for sometime.
I never had a craze of Multimedia Mobiles in my life. Though all of my friends carry a costlier model with them, I never found it to be worth the money they spend. I had made my mind that I’ll get a phone but I wanted it to be worth my money. I had my eyes on a PDA (Windows Mobile to be precise), but all had bulky price tags, which were all out of my budget since I would have to compromise on my full two month’s sal to get one of ‘em.
I was always impressed with the looks of HTC Phones, but I thought that it was very costsly again. Thank god I came to know that my thought was wrong. At last without much thinking I brought the basic model P3400i, which cost me about Rs 9,700 for the set alone and an additional Rs 700 for the 2GB SD Card.
I know this is the most boring story ever told. Who wants to listen to a loser telling about his story when he bought a phone. Still I wanna tell it cos I felt happy after a very long period of time, a time which was the darkest in my 24 years of existence.
